Reflection about Digital Portfolio

On the first month in grade 5, August 2007, we had just used edublogs. It's a blog for teachers and students. Though soon after that, it had been blocked by the school. So instead we used blogger. We learned how to post things to our blog and had to write a comment to some of our friends. We soon got to learn how to post a picture. It is very easy, at least since I've done it a million times already. The thing that I like about blogger that it is another easy way to connect with people. We also can see information about what we've been doing. Though the thing that I don't like is that other people can see us and other people might want to find us or copy us by doing this. So I really need to be careful. 

Second thing that we did was googlepage maker. Other people can also see our work there. The things that we put there was only about our UOI topic, Machines. We started doing this since the last week of November. We cannot put about something else than our UOI. I learned to be more precise about things. Since everytime we added a page, we had to change the whole thing which sometimes can be so tiring and annoying. That's one of the thin that I don't like about googlepages. I also learned to be more patient because sometimes googlepages can have errors, or we have to wait for it to load. Just like Mrs. Jane said, googlepages is still new. The thing that I like was that we could tell people about what we were doing and how to do it. So I learned about helping others, too. 

Now the easiest one was making a digital portfolio in iWeb. This time we've made a bunch of reflections. By that, I learned to be more and more creative about writing short reports and long ones. It's sort of boring to do that though. By making this portfolio, I also learned more about computers. All of us used different computers because we had to take turns to use the iMac. So when we've done some work in the PC computer, we can connect to network and put the files in the iMac. It sounds pretty confusing but easy to do. So I learned how to cooperate with friends. 

So those things are what we did during this year. Quite a lot huh?
